Born in the post industrial brilliance of a town called Hudd young Belle always felt that a life of mining down the pit or working in maccy d’s was not quite for her...she sang for a while with a gaggle of reprobates in a band they called the twitch (after the soundmans rather unfortunate habit of looking like tourette’s sufferer on acid)...however everyone decided to leave her beloved hudd and she felt the only proper thing to do was to set out to yet another northern hovel...LEEDS! after finishing a rather confusing english literature degree...via auditioning for a band with the rather talented Shlomo (darn his beat boxing skills and fame), travelling around Europe, Morocco, Cuba and India she thought it was time to whisk her rather fine booty to a place they call London town.

Someone told the young Belle that Londinium had streets paved with gold...rivers flowing with cristal and goddamit that everyone...nay everyone had their wishes come true..although some of the fellows who gave her this "information" have since been found to be rather lacking in the truth department she is giving London a whirl for the time being...

So London it was, and it was here that Belle keep herself busy working with musicians and producers as well as performing at various gigs including one she co promoted, a popular monthly night showcasing unsigned talent from across the board, a night called Numbers.

This is a soft melancholy track...composition soothing and room to breathe. Love the flute. You have a soft, Sade type voice but the lyrical content is not too strong, as could'nt differentiate a chorus from the verse really. But as the song said "Breathe". Very nice1 Overall this is A grooving ambient song, easy listening on a chilled out sunset day or an evening in with friends or loved one. But you need to pronounce your words more, as at times it was hard to hear what you were saying and you should work on your pitching. Song could do with a little bit more production, but in all it's workable. 18/30 valeriemaxfield

This song started impressively, but would have been nice to develop beyond the initial (nice) loop and the vocals. As an ambient chill out track, it worked nicely. As a song, it needed more – a greater sense of structure and some kind of journey. When you’re writing a song based on a loop, you need courage to break away or do something different in order to give the song a new dimension. Otherwise, you can get trapped and it becomes repetitive. The great thing is that if you do break away, you can then resolve back to the loop and it sounds fresh and exciting again. Production was interesting – full, clear, funky. I liked where the drums were in the mix. There’s a lot out there like this, so anything new needs to be distinctive. That might be something in the vocal, the production – or something completely separate like being the centre of a thriving scene. Something that brings an extra dimension and a spot of magic. Advice for the future; Keep going – think differently – be brave. 16/30 tomlewis

Lovely ideas here. Compositionally very interesting and enticing. The vocals unfortunately sounded rather tired and the tuning is a problem although I really liked the intention of the vocals but unfortunately the vocal production did let the recording down. Overall I thought this was a refreshing and charming approach. But in the future try to pay much more attention to the vocals. 16/30 haydnbendall
