Love the breakdown in the middle with the bass freak out, well structured song. I find the chorus unfortunately a little dirgy, perhaps a bit more variation in the melody would improve this. Over-use of rhyme gives the sound a little bit of a cheesy edge too.

Great bass line, tight drums - I feel however that the vocal unfortunately let's the overall sound down. It's not a bad voice, just not a voice used to the best of it's ability.

Nice panning of guitars, liked that I could hear a guitar creeping in my right ear at times, sounds nice and full in that respect. Drums a touch weak.

I get the impression you are influenced by people like Eels, Beck, Weezer, Divine Comedy etc..

To improve your sound to the standard of the above I would suggest less obvious rhymes in the vocal, more interesting vocal melodies and a crisper sound.

Good song - but seems to stay on the same level throughout - modulation would help.

This arrangement would benefit from some vocal harmony work. The band sounds good, and the singer performs well. A modulation (key change) would help - perhaps at the bridge (pre-chorus) section, and stay in that key for the chorus.
Nice bass break melody before the final choruses - I'd make more of it. Nice use of Vox Continental-type keyboard.

The vocal melody and lyrics are very uninspiring.

The vocal performance is not great I'm afraid. The tuning is a little suspect and I don't get any feeling that you really mean it! As you are making a big thing of not using auto tune then learn to sing better!
No sense of performance really at all - just playing.

Adequate recording but it didn't conjure up any impression of the artist or the space in which it was played

Very retro feel and sound without any of the magic. Spend more time listening and less copying so you can take your influences and develop them into your own style. This is less appealing in category than it was in a more overall one.

Its not a particularly original song or lyric, but its executed well enough. There are no major problems but its not fresh to me at all...

The band sound ok! There's some fairly serious timing/groove issues but the energy is really good despite this. Vocal tuning/timing is a problem, but these are things to work on, the track still kinda works!

Its a bit mushy, but the balance is ok. The hihats are a little too loud and theres a lack of definition throughout! The vocal sounds a little too separate from the rest of the music!
