I was born 1974 in Switzerland (and im stil there!). I started playing electric guitar at the age of 11 or 12. At that time I listened (and played�) only Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. My first Band toked me with 15. 1 week later we did the first gig at school! ;-) At that time I started listening some strange music from Steve Vai, and I try until now to play that stuff! I have played in a few bands and gave with them a couple of gigs.

In 1994 I heared about the Streetparade in Zurich. I have talked about with my Friend: �its all the same: Bum Bum Bum!� But I was really intrested in finding the reason about it (and seeing some thousands half naked girls dancing�) ;-). So one day later I had to go to this Event. And after that big big show we went to the Energy party. That was an incredible day that changed my life.

Later I sold all my guitar equipment and bought a DJ Mixer and 2 Turntables. Started mixing some Acid House. That was awaysome, a cool time. Then, a few years later I started mixing some Goa Sound. This I did for 2 years. At that time I heard some really strange noises� ;-) After that, and after my son was born, I took an Time Out� ;-) Meanwhile I started listening some Really Deep Funk.
And during all this years I always listened some Prodigy (awaysome Beats, and a Power like Heavy Metal!). So I started remixing some stuff and produced my own Songs and Sound. And its always amazing to see, when I do a DJ Set with my Songs or Remixes, how people are going crazy about my sound! That�s the reason why I do it� ;-)

I do a lot of diffrent styles, while im djing... ;-) REAL DEEP FUNK, JAZZ, ACID JAZZ, SOUL, BIGBEATS, BREAKBEATS, ROCK, CHILL OUT, PSY CHILL, NU JAZZ, 60's and 70's... But no worry, not all at the same Time! ;-))

Lyrically maybe there is more packaging than content. Maybe the lyrics are supposed to be deep, but I don't think they are hard-hitting enough to be deep. (whoever wrote the lyrics is now crying out in protest and I may end up having an accident if I go to Zurich) Maybe I'm not getting it. The hook line is almost really good but not quite. What's been used as thee chorus is actually a pre-chorus and the really great hook hasn't been written. Talent is not only about writing a good song but also knowing when the song has achieved it's full potential. It's not easy to tell someone what they've done, isn't strong enough yet. They might get offended etc. That's where an asshole dictatorial producer like me comes in. I don't care how you feel. We gotta get a great tune together, otherwise what's the point. But don't get me wrong it's not bad, especially the verses are really good 9 point(s) for Performance Cheeky voice, Loving the early Tina Turner moments. Great vocal performance. Difficult to make out other performances. There is so much going on. Some of it is out of time. There is a difference between feel and "out of time" . It sounds like there is some great stuff going on somewhere. 7 point(s) for Capture Drum track maybe a bit full, sounds like drums have been double tracked and are not quite synched up. A lot going on. So production/mix could be tighter. Despite that, the track does have a good vibe (or "awaysome" as you put it in your biog ;-)) That's my new word now! 23 Total Points Cool graphics and name. Should maybe get the vocals more up front, the vocal performance is superb it’s a shame they haven’t made more of this & put it at the front of the mix,. A funky floor filler with some great gospel style breaks. Very catchy chorus - always a bonus. 8 point(s) for Performance Loved the funky vocals and arrangement. This track works as a collection of loops that are juxtaposed to create some interest. The balance of the parts is okay and the sonic quality is good, but that is to be expected with a collection of loops like this. If a track is going to be built like this, then it needs to have something additional about it to make it work and stand out as different. This sounds like a collection of samples pieced together without trying to make any kind of statement. The real interest in tracks like this is how the samples are pieced together to create some kind of musical journey or statement, and this track seems to lack those qualities. It doesn’t sound like the artists has put much thought into how the samples work together to create interest. The exception to this is at the middle section breakdown, but that alone is not enough to make a track of over 4.30 warrant paying that much attention. You have demonstrated that you have a basic idea of creating some variety in a track but a collection of samples like this needs more than that. I would suggest you think more about creating your own unique voice through the music you make. 12/30 dannycope

Big-beat was a difficult genre to really hit out of the park and this doesn’t really do it! It desperately needs a strong hook as the bass and guitar ideas are not enough to sustain a whole track! Super-dated production here. It’s not accomplished enough technically to be sustaining without a serious song/hook to back it up. A squashy breakbeat, tiny guitar lick, funky bass-loop and occasional acid bass moments would have to be really amazingly well put together to be interesting nowadays. To bang on about it again, it just sounds far too dated!!! Start to stretch out a lot more with your approach to programming and maybe leave this whole genre of music behind!! I really like the raw funky groove, the energy of the beats and the guitar playing. But this is entered into the wrong category. It’s dead funky but it isn’t R&B and Soul. I’d go for this if I was judging the Dance category! The production is great, loads of relentless energy, however I would take a bit more care when mixing in the snares around 2.40. Definitely keep banging it out, I dig the hedonism, guitars and block rocking beats. A proper voyage! 23/30 patfulgoni
