Recorder are a strange mixture of mechanics and melancholia - which I liked very much, I am a great supporter of electronic music. you sound very competant, and clearly take your music seriously.

But what you need somewhere is some funk, and some oomph, and preferably i'd like to see you speed up the bpms a bit and make it all a little bit warmer.

This is a nice catchy melody with good production and a strong drum track. The track has a nice overall feel, spacey and uplifting. Needs a big chorus to really make it work, take it to the next level. The verse is realy good, catchy and promising, but where’s the big chorus? Needs a massive hook. Deserves one even.

My adive would be to listen to ‘Hysteria’ by Def Leppard (I’m serious!) not for production or anything other than somg writing and arrangement. Almost every song has a HUGE chorus. The the bridge of nearly every song is another man’s chorus. You think you’ve got the chorus then suddenly you’re hit with an even bigger one.

I get all the references, I do…5 years ago it might have turned my head, but I am afraid it has all been done to death…anyway the square beat isn’t square enough and phat, the vocoder isn’t , well Kraftwerk enough…and the song is hiding, for good reason, behind the synthetic delivery. Try getting a better robot.

I think more rawness in the production approach might have driven this more and injected it with some life/half life… Try to get less bogged down in generic convention. Do a Grime - Kraftwerk track…blow the expectations and don’t be scared to be tasteless.

This track is sweet, air-ish, light easy electro-pop. I suspect many people will find this enjoyable for a while but will tire of it fairly quickly.

To get sweetness in a song is a good thing, but just like sugar it needs to used lightly or balanced with other things. I would suggest the intro, outro and/or middle sections could be modulated in to a closely related key.

Super cheesy, super dated ideas, theres nothing fresh and exciting here, its cookie-cutter electro-pop…The melody is generally fine, its all just a bit dull in my opinion, Please please, no more vocoder….!

This really didn’t do it for me. Too much like a demo, not enough love in the track! Don’t imitate, innovate!
