Good use of sound and effects in the beat. Immediately captures attention. Water, panning, echo introduction of new drum sounds etc all add to the soundtrack.

Good lyrical composition and flow. Not scared of letting the vocals work as another instrument using gaps to good effect so stress other aspects of the track and delivery.

One criticism would be the ending where the track drifts off with no real sense of a finale.

Although the vocal is slightly out of tune to the track there is something about that I like. It is often the rougher edges of songs that make them more interesting.

Although the lyrics themselves are not hugely captivating the feeling created is perhaps more important and here the vocal and track work well to do that.

The production on this is all expertly handled. While it has a very studio created as opposed to live performance feel to it the studio techniques used are done so very well and work in support of the vocal and vice versa.

Of all the tracks submitted this is perhaps the one I feel is most likely to make it onto commercial radio and therefore in turn for the artists to make it in the industry although there may well be to many comparisons to the likes of Portishead and Zero 7 for people to feel this is breaking new ground

Ree, I wasted no time relating to your lyrics, well sung and had all the ingredients of a sing along. I wanted to hear the chorus keep saying NO time to Waste, I can hear it. I love the way it left you hanging, that's how this kind of song just be, thought provoking and music to make you sway. Great

delivery is a little early at times, she could groove a bit more with the beat..

mix leaves a little to be desired..

drums sound a little over quantized, i can hear the reason loop in the verses...and that snare.. good but could easily have been a recorded


bridge sounds beautiful.. nice ride action and the reverb too

strummed guitar could be a bit more sublime and played better, timing is a bit rigid at points..

could take it a bit deeper with the overall comression.

Vocals could be a little softer/ back in the mix

Its absolutely fine as a track, but doesn't really move me as it should.So much scope here tho, could be really good. A lot more attention to arrangement please!!!
