This is a decent soulful vibe to the whole of this track both musically and vocally. Harmonies work well as does the interplay between the vocals.

However there is nothing here I feel I have not heard before. It comes across as a fairly standard album track that would sit well on many Neo Soul albums but would not be a standout single.

The musicianship on all aspects of this track are good. All players and singers have mastered their instruments but are not taking many risks with them.

The production & mix of this track are well done with everything sitting perfectly in the mix making sure every aspect is clear, had space to breath but does not over power any other.

Has a good one take feel to it too.

My feeling here is that this band could produce a perfectly accomplished album, perhaps more so than other artists in the competition but perhaps have chosen too safe a track for my liking.

Good ballad in the jazz/soul ballad type style. Maybe a little on the cliched side but this is not the OFF THE BEATEN TRACK category. If you can make cliches work well, why not?

Good voice, we like the trumpet, can't fault any of the performances.

Liking the sparseness, possibly a little mainstream for my taste but as far as mainstream tracks go this one is really well done. They do say in the biog they call their style Pop Universal. They set out to be mainstream and they have achieved it, so fair enough. How about "Universal Hammock Pop" as a genre?

really good song,

lyrics are a little too poppy and generic for my liking although it doesn't make me like the song any less... Slightly evocative/ risque lyrics on smooth music like this make it so much more exciting and electric, and give it more of a sensual edge as opposed to a cheesy one.

Music is realy nice

could be a little more modern with the production techniques.

Sound is a little 90's soul with no frills and there is a lot of music post d'angelo that they could have drawn inspiration from and kept it just as if not more soulful... It needs that modern edge..

Not the most original but fits easily into the soul genre. Would like to hear them do something more upbeat for comparison. Lyrical content was straight down the line soul fodder.
