Bio : Striking Poses

The members of Striking Poses met in early 2006 while collaborating on a Goth rock project, Echoes of Sin. Their first meeting was on Valentines Day of that year, and to prove their mutual scorn of the day, they got married the following year.
Together they set up a music production partnership as DIY management and publisher for two musical projects: Striking Poses and EntropiK.
Striking Poses began busking in Leeds and playing the odd gig from late 2006 onwards, but lay dormant from winter 2007 until spring of 2008 while the couple recorded and released their first EntropiK album. Poses are now very much live and kicking and gaining strong momentum as they perform a wide array of gigs in and around Leeds. Venues include Carpe Diem, Trash, Oporto, Adelphi, The Subculture, The Primrose and Upstairs @ The Library. Their new 5 track EP, Ash will be available on iTunes and other major digital retailers in September and they will be commencing work on their next album in autumn of this year.

Danny you have an incredible voice and an uncanny way of capturing and blending the unrequited, the deep soul searching, passion & longing, with bright hope and optimism.
