Website: www.myspace.com/tessnotes Has got through to the finals for BEST MALE with the demo version of Elliott, thankyou everyone. Im working on the album version of Elliott complete with string quartet arranegment, drums and double bass as we speak. It makes the song come into its own and Im excited for you to hear it. But despite this being an early rough demo of the song I've been pleased with some of the positive comments from the judges. Including: "Nice song, good lyrics" "Really nice vocal performance" Emre Ramazanoglu (Producer - LOU RHODES, AFRIKA BAMBAATA, ALAN VEGA, BOBBIE GILLESPIE and MARC ALMOND) "Well constructed song with quite interesting lyrics" "You have a good voice and can write songs"" Tony Platt (Producer - The Who, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Bob MArley). "The chorus is strong and catchy. The song and performance stands up to and improves on repeated listening". Tom Lewis (Head of Decca Records) Thankyou to the judges and everyone who has voted so far ! xx

Complete with string quartets, percussion and double bass, its a radical departure from anything previously heard. Welcome ! London, Paris, Seattle, The Midlands and Kent are just some of the places that Tess has fallen thru to reach his sound. "It's kind of a mixture of everything I have ever loved, gained from exposure to living in so many new cities with inspiring artists", was his reply when asked to describe what he does. Or perhaps we should take the alternate view of one reviewer who described it as, "hope and darkness in equal measure"? Either way, the sound is distinct and unmistakable unique dynamic vocals, introspective lyrics, haunting strings and memorable guitar. Here, in an early peek at Tess' debut album LIFESONGS, this early demo of Elliott literally reprresents the building blocks of the song and offers a introductory flavor of what he does.
