Toxikhate is a music-project started by two very old friends Dan and Sam (who are Spanish and English) and both live in the south of France. They played together in a band in the 90's which was called 'Bag of Bones' and did many chaotic concerts which many finished by them smashing up all the gear on stage.

We decided to get back to together in 2008 to have some fun and record some material which will probabaly be a rough mixture of metal, industrial, and hardcore punk.. Sam will be shouting in english and Dan in spanish. All recording will be done on our Macs.

We're both fan of heavy, fast, loud, and noisy music. Our influences go from the 80's punk hardcore scene (Dead Kennedy's, Black Flag,..) to the metal and industrial sound of the 90's (Ministry, Killing Joke, Nailbomb, Godflesh, NIN, Helmet, Pitchshifter...) and all the grunge thingy (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in chains, TAD, ...) We both love THE CURE (especially the earlier stuff). Sam is also into some electronic stuff like aphex twin, autechre, lustmord etc.. We will certainly being using some samples and some electronic elements in our music.

There is no big reason for the project apart it is intended for fun and making some noise.
