Uruk was born when Edwin wanted to record a song and his friend Simon Offered his studio to do so. The song to work with was Circles Around, but the song got into them, and decided to jam it live. So in February of 2008 Simon asked his friend Jesus to come and play drums for the song, and he accepted . The impact that they had jamming was overwhelming so everything started that day. Couple of months later Kitty and her extreme voice joined the band and Uruk was born! Prior to this Eddy started writing the songs and lyrics working with Simon doing his part on producing and engineering them. As a result working with analog set up Uruk had achieve a great sound.

So far Uruk shows performed had been amazing with their intensity of the songs, combining different sort of stiles, from progressive to extreme metal even playing some jazzy and samba parts, earning day by day new fans all over the world and the respect from bands the had played with.

Looking forward for their first release Uruk is currently at the studio recording it.
